Voice Lessons
Your body is your instrument, so let’s start there.
I have a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Voice and performed for years with the Singing Sergeants of the U.S. Air Force. I know how we traditionally train singers, and I know what the real demands are on performers today.
Like you haven’t had them before
Maybe you stepped away from singing to pursue other priorities and want to rediscover your voice. Maybe you’re navigating layers of confusion and misinformation about singing in multiple styles. Maybe you’re performing in less-than-ideal circumstances and need support from someone who really gets it. Maybe it’s finally time to try something you’ve dreamed of being able to do.
My pedagogy is body-based. Together we’ll uncover ease, creativity, and flexibility in your singing by working with your whole self.
Combining somatic practices with my pedagogy training allows me to help you:
Connect with your voice in a sustainable way
Release tension and find resonance through embodied awareness
Build confidence and adaptability across multiple styles
Cultivate presence, confidence, and compelling artistry onstage and off
Singing is about discovering
what your body can do,
and learning to trust her.
